The joint is gonna’ be jumpin’ to the music of Thomas “Fats” Waller when this Tony Award-winning musical revue heats up the Parish Theatre. Five phenomenal singers and a swingin’ jazz band will be strutting their way through such Waller classics as Honeysuckle Rose, Black and Blue, ‘T Ain’t Nobody’s Bizness and Ain’t Misbehavin’ as they celebrate the musical soul of the African-American experience during the Harlem Renaissance of the 1920s and 30s. Relive the Golden Age of Jazz, a time when night spots like the Cotton Club and the Savoy Ballroom were packing them in.
