Romanian pianist Radu Lupu is one of the most important musicians of his generation. He sprang to worldwide attention as the first-prize winner in the second Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 1965. Lupu is widely acknowledged as a leading interpreter of the works of Beethoven Brahms, Mozart and Schubert.
He'll perform Schumann’s Papillons (Butterflies), Op. 2 and Bunte Blätter (Autumn Leaves), Op. 99 and Schubert’s Sonata in B-flat Major, D. 960.
