2010 Gilmore Young Artist Charlie Albright returns to Kalamazoo. If you missed him during Festival, you have another opportunity to hear him now. If you did attend one of his Festival concerts, you know you don't want to miss this opportunity. Albright is working on his master's in economics at Harvard and his master's of music in piano performance at the New England Conservatory of Music.

The Gilmore Rising Stars Recital Series brings some of the best young international pianists to the intimate setting of the Wellspring Theater at the Epic Center in downtown Kalamazoo. For audiences with a special love of music, particularly keyboard music, the discovery of these wonderful new talents — as well as the fact that their artistry can be enjoyed now, before they become “big stars” — makes this series particularly compelling. This is a unique opportunity to witness legends in the making.
