Kalamazoo Singers
The Kalamazoo Singers is a choral ensemble of approximately 40 voices under the direction of Thomas Kasdorf. All members are admitted by audition and include some of the area’s finest singers.

**Special opportunity for Concerts in the Park audiences**
Prior to the concert, visit the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts for a 2.30 p.m. tour of the Lorna Simpson exhibition. This mid-career retrospective features large-scale photography with film and video installations.

Escape to an afternoon of musical entertainment in beautiful Bronson Park. Take in the fresh air and the sweet sounds of talented performers at a series of free Sunday concerts.

Unless noted otherwise, all concerts start at 4 p.m. in Bronson Park at the Rotary Club Stage with rain site at First Baptist Church. Listed below is the schedule of upcoming performances.

June 17....Kalamazoo Concert Band (rain site Civic Auditorium)
June 24....“Jazz on a String” with Rich Ridenour and Barry Ross
July 1....Earlie Braggs Jazz Quartet

July 15....Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra (Starts at 8 p.m., rain site Miller Auditorium)
July 22....Greater Kalamazoo Dixieland Society Jazz Band
Aug 5....Los Bandits
Aug 12....Schlitz Creek
Aug 19....Kalamazoo Big Band

Concerts in the Park is presented by the Arts Council and the City of Kalamazoo and made possible by a grant from the Irving S. Gilmore Foundation. The Arts Council was founded in 1966. Its mission is to support, promote and fund the arts in the greater Kalamazoo area.
